Sikar is another district in shekhawati belt of Rajasthan after jhunjhunu. Like jhunjhunu sikar is also an example of praise worthy art architecture and temples. Here are major places which is tourist destination
Our first destination is khatu shayamji mandir
Temple is 10 km away from sikar headquarters. Khatu shyam ( barbarik) a warrior who sacrificed his head on request of shri krishna during kurushetra war at mahabharat. Temple is also has good architectural structure. Temple is made up of lime mortar, marble, tiles. There is another holy place called shyam kund. It is holy because it was believed that head of barbarik was dug up.
Our next destination is jeen mata mandir .
This temple is an ancient temple 1200 year ago of Mata Jayanti ( goddess of power) . It was believed that no devotee leave empty handed after mata darshan. Temple is also famous for its fair and festival held twice every year where millions of devotees come.
Our next destination is Harsh nath temple.
The temple was built approximately 973ce . But later the temple was destroyed by mughal ruler Aurangzeb. Then rao raja Shivsingh constructed a new temple near old temple using it's ruins. Other than this it also has good sunset and sunrise view as it is situated on hill.
Our next destination is Seth ram gopal podar ji chhatri.
It is situated in Ramgarh.Chhatri was built by podar's. Its center of attraction is its dome as here there is a great murals illustrating Ramayana, life of krishana and ragamala's painting.
Our next destination is Narsingh ji temple.
It is located at kandela of sikar. Main reason it is famous is architectural design. As temple is built upon a such height that the first ray of sun rising in Dakshinnayana and uttarayan falls only on Lord shri Narsingh ji. It is famous for its msha arti, many people came here to take part in maha arti. And get lord narsingh ji's blessings.
Our next destination is Lakshmangarh fort
The most imposing building in this Laxmangarh town is it's small fortress. Built by Raja of sikar Lakshman singh in 1805 . The name of Lakshmangarh is also named after his name. The architecture of this fort is very unique and known world wide as this fort is build upon scattered pieces of huge rocks.

Our nest destination is Dawarkadheesh temple
The temple is also known as asharam temple built in 19centuary by sons of seth ashram ji poddar in memory of their father. The painting on temple is also a centre of attraction.
Our next destination is Nand lal devra haveli:
it was built by rich trader nandlal devra ji in 1802 . Latter the haveli is bought by french artist naidine. She opened a cultural Center here and exhibit her art there along with many other french and indian artist. Which make place more interesting.
Our nest destination is Goenka haveli
Goenka haveli was built in 1870 it is one of the best haveli in fatehpur . The murals at the haveli are reflective of the craftmanship that flourished in the area. It has wall painting on which there was shown glimses of radha and krishna romance fillrtration with goppis . It is very beautiful place and one should visit.
Other spots to visit are behlim kingdom qureshi farm and fatehpur market.
